Nidecker OG Supermatic – Tech Story

The **OG Supermatic (2026)** is Nidecker’s flagship speed-entry binding that combines automatic engagement with universal boot compatibility. Kick in through the back, stomp down on the heel lever, and the highback flips into position while the straps auto-tension — all with the performance feel of a traditional two-strap binding. The updated OG version includes next-gen **LSR 2.0** ratchets for auto-locking of strap settings and improved usability.

• Baseplate: Nylon+ Auto (30% glass fiber / 70% nylon) with Drop IN™ tech — mid-stiff flex with rockered corners to maintain board flex. 
• Highback: Nylon+ Ultraback — supportive but still flexive, with tool-free forward lean adjustment. 
• Straps: Exo-Frame Hybrid with Hexo Toecap — a combination of AuxTech® webbing and ExoSpines for balanced pressure and flexibility. 
• Active Strap Technology — when you recline the highback, the straps lift to allow easier entry/exit. 
• Slip-N-Grip plates — smooth internal plates reduce friction with boot sole so the step-in is effortless, yet still retain grip when locked down. 
• LSR 2.0 Auto-Lock Ratchets — once you stop cranking your straps, they auto-lock into place (both directions). 
• Quick-Set Latches — tool-free medial strap adjustment with easy indexing via numbers on ladder. 
• BankBeds (2.5° canted footbed) — designed to align knees and ankles naturally for better biomechanics.
